Geographically, our world is still a very large place. Thanks to all of the advances in communications during the past few decades though, it can feel small when we try to contact and connect with each other, whether it is for sex, dating, romance or love. There are more sites available on the world wide web than we could have ever possibly imagined, and we can access them all in just the blink of an eye.
If we forget for a moment just how big the spinning globe that we all live on really is, all we have to do is to try to figure out a way to see every place in the entire world and we will be reminded of the vast amount of space that all the various lands on the earth encompass. Some of us even live our entire lives without ever seeing even half of the different countries that exist, and many people never even leave their home countries. Even those of us that are travel buffs are quite challenged to manage to see all of the destinations that we would like to in our life times.
When we use the world wide web to connect to people for information, for romance, for love or even for xxx dating, we can meet hundreds and hundreds of people in literally just a few minutes or so. All of a sudden our great big world grows a lot smaller as we begin to converse with people from all different countries in real time and we are able to spend virtual time with anyone that we choose to whenever we would like to. We can keep up with our friends from other countries quickly and easily without worrying about expensive toll calls and time differences.
In some ways it is a great big world, and in other ways it is quite small. It all depends upon our perspective.
